We all know only the things shown to us, i.e., called as “surface web” it is about 19 TB which is only a small part of the original world wide web.The greater part is hidden down by a size of about 7500 TB and guess what? It’s still expanding.

How to access the dark web

The dark web, by definition, requires special software to access it. Get the software and you’ve unlocked the key to the dark web, though by no means does that mean you should dive in head first!
  1. Get the Tor browser. The Tor browser is a free and open-sourced browser dedicated to maintaining user security and anonymity. All you have to do is download it from their official site and install it.
  2. Connect to the Tor network. Your Tor browser connects you to the Tor network, which works by sending your anonymized traffic through three randomly chosen volunteer nodes around the world. You can use this powerful anonymity tool to browse any ordinary website, but it will also grant you access to the Tor network.
  3. Enter a .onion URL. The Tor network is the only way to gain access to an .onion site. These are websites designed to only work with the Tor network – no other browser can access them (without any extensions or modifications to access the Tor network). .onion URLs are difficult to find, and unfortunately, we won’t provide any in this post. That’s because they are frequently changed, and some of them lead to pages of questionable legality or security. Browse at your own risk!
